Digital PR Team
Salary range:  £24,000 – £32,000 dependent on experience.
Aira is a fast growing digital agency based in the centre of Milton Keynes. We’re currently looking for a Digital PR Consultant with a consumer PR background to join our team. You will be joining an experienced company at an exciting stage of growth and will be given the opportunity to grow in your role and get hands-on with projects from day one.

About the role

  • You will be working as an experienced member of the digital PR team to deliver links and campaigns for our clients, building awareness of their brand online in target publications
  • You will be leading on outreach strategy and media relations across a range of clients, delegating work to more junior account members where appropriate
  • Working alongside our team of digital content specialists, you will help to brainstorm campaign ideas on accounts that will deliver against client objectives and expectations alongside ideas that are newsworthy to support your outreach strategy
  • You will build relationships with key publications in the UK and abroad, including national newspapers and magazines
  • You will take part in and lead client meetings to understand their business, report on work and ensure they are happy
  • You will aim to become a media relations guru, imparting your knowledge to more junior members of the team and helping solve problems
  • You will help and guide the team in writing press releases, creating media lists and leading campaign launches
  • You will help the team to look for opportunities to improve our processes, systems and tools for outreach across clients
  • You will work closely with the Digital PR and Content Team Lead on outreach strategy and ensuring clients are happy and targets are being met
  • You will be given the opportunity to share your expertise via our blog, industry-leading blogs, our own events and at marketing conferences
  • You will also be given the chance to progress and influence the growth of our digital PR services

About You

You’ll have at least 3+ years experience in a PR, marketing, or content role and will have worked directly on a range of projects where you’ve played a leading role from start to finish. We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • You will have a minimum of 3+ years experience in digital PR or content marketing working in an agency, ideally with experience in consumer PR
  • You will have a solid understanding of working with budgets and ensuring projects are profitable and delivered on time
  • Good experience in brainstorming campaign ideas for a range of clients and seeing these through from start to finish
  • You will have strong experience in media relations and have already built good relationships with key journalists from both national and lifestyle publications
  • Experience with databases such as Gorkana/Vuelio
  • You will have experience managing a team, however, this is not essential
  • You will have good experience managing and leading on outreach strategy for clients
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing, digital PR and social media alongside a basic understanding of SEO and link building
  • You will have excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • You will be confident dealing with and managing several clients, alongside taking ownership of how we deliver digital PR services and shaping how we deliver them in the future
  • You will have good experience creating tailored press releases and media lists for a range of different clients and campaigns
  • A PR related degree is a bonus but not essential
