MKGO Code of Conduct
We want MKGO to be a relaxed, educational, enjoyable and inclusive event. That’s why we’ve created this code of conduct, to ensure that you - our attendees - can have a great time, network and learn from the industry’s best without fear of harassment, discrimination or other unwelcome attention.
We won’t tolerate any form of harassment or unacceptable behaviour (including digital abuse) towards delegates, exhibitors, organisers or speakers.
Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at the conference.
Unacceptable Behaviour/Harassment includes (but is not limited to):
Offensive verbal or online comments related to:
- gender, or gender identity and expression
- sexual orientation
- disability, physical appearance or body size
- religion
- race or nationality
- sexual images in a public space
- stalking
- deliberate intimidation
- harassing photography or recording
- sustained disruption of talks
- unwelcome sexual attention.
Delegates asked to stop any such behaviour will be expected to cease immediately.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour:
Anyone breaking these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
What to do if you are a victim or witness unacceptable behaviour
If you are harassed, you see someone else being harassed, or you have any behavioural concerns at the conference, please make a member of the venue staff or Aira staff aware as soon as possible.

We will be more than happy to help, whether by contacting venue security, the police, by providing escorts or by doing anything else to make you feel safe during the conference. We’ll do everything we can to help and to respect your confidentiality.
